About Us

Regenesys is a design based systems integration and project management company. It was formed in 2004 to commercialise and develop its unique solar thermal power plant that uses a heliostat tower system with centralised air receiver, hot rock thermal storage and gas turbine electricity production. The company is Australian owned and based in Queensland. A prototype plant is under construction at Ipswich near Brisbane. Several more projects both in Australia and internationally are targeted for development. Initially projects are being developed in the 5-15MW range although power stations in the many hundreds of megawatts will benefit considerably from the economies of scale.
